Not too sure if it is toxic for shrimps, but so far my fish and shrimp die from other causes :P
Hi I used a roll of white plumbing tape for my slight leak 2026 in order to save 27$
Just curious will this white tape secrete poisonous stuff like liquid chemical? Anyone use for their filters before?

Those are Teflon tape, not silicon tape.
If I remember correctly, I had used it on my old eheim 2228 before and nothing had happen to my fishes. (Based on my own previous experience).
