Hello everyone, does anyone here know where I can find wild Singapore moss ? Cannot seem to find them... ... Searched high and low around my neighbourhood but to no avail, none was found... ...

From what I've read so far (I may be wrong), mosses do not have roots per se but something akin to roots tht helps them attach to a surface.
Also,have u tried macritche reservoir or bukit timah nature reserve ifu haven't already??

How do you differentiate Singapore Moss from other indigenous or non-native species ?
You should look at shaded areas on soil around your home. The moss is everywhere, you just have to look closer.
I tried, the shaded areas are rather sparse. But, the ones i do find in shaded areas are rooted plants and fungus... ... A little pathetic!

Nope. Singapore moss got thinner leaves. It's smaller too.

Went to my LFS, couldn't find it too... ... Thought of buying it at first. Hear that C328 has it, it's way too far for me... ...
You live anywhere near CCK? Or do you frequent Amoy or maxwell market area? I can point out some areas where I seen Singapore Moss.

But for aquarium use need to clean and quarantine. But very hardy these moss !

it's everywhere. just look around your carpark. there's alot of moss patch around on the floor.

I've got Singapore moss but the fronds are not very wonderful since I'm not using chiller.
