Detection of other harmful attributes beyond the usual compounds

Hi fellows, I was wondering, besides testing for the usual Ammonia, Nitrite & Nitrate, what other compounds can we test for, to ensure the water's pristine? Chlorine, Copper, etc?

Sometimes I have heard stories of mysterious isolated deathes (of fishes), but the owners reported ideal parameters (with regards to the usual 3).

in my opinion, the SDS (sudden death syndrome) that you mentioned above, goes beyond water parameters.
