Now try Harlequin, Red Orchid and Mambo bee.(again)

Haha I had mambo, red orchid, harlequin that time, same story with the mambo, red orchid reproduced but harlequin although did get berried, didn't see any shrimplets. But when I moved the tank home from my hostel they all up lorry lo. Now trying harlequin, white orchid, blue poso. Would love to get blueberries if they come in. No luck with red orchid and redlines, keep dying on me haha.
Same here..no luck with redlines. Can't even last for 2 days.
Haha are you using the saltyshrimp mineral salts bro?
Yes i am using 8.5.only use once every 2 weeks or so.cannot use too much
Haha I'm using 8.5 too.
Hello oiishi, seems you are into Sulawesi shrimps for a long time. How do you maintain your tank before using salty shrimp 8.5? How is the surviving rate and breeding rate like before you starts using salty shrimp 8.5?
Hi Seudzar
Before saltyshrimp 8.5, i used cichlid lake salt. Now i use both of them for both tanks.
Surviving and breeding rate depend on the species. White Orchid and Blue leg are having higher rate. The rest of them not so.
Key word *No itchy hands*....
Hi Oiishi,
Thank you for sharing your experience. How long you have since use 8.5 salt. Do you see any difference after using it?
Where can I get saltyshrimp 8.5?
You can get salty shrimp sulawesi mix 8.5 and 7.5 at green chapter.
Note: 7.5 is suitable for common sulawesi shrimp like dennerli. 8.5 is specially for more sensitive shrimps like red line and harlequin. However it is still difficult to keep the sensitive one in 8.5
Hello all, Reporting in!
I keep sulawesi shrimps, tetras, birds, exotic pets, herptiles and monster fishes.
