Hi, i noticed NTUC has a new kind of life water that replaces the old one.
The difference between the new and old is that the new one has 0.5mg of sodium per 250ml. So for a bottle of 1.5L, the total sodium content is 3mg!
While the old one has none sodium at all.
Does any one knows if this amount of sodium will cause shrimps casualty? I'm contemplating in using it.
wow you are very observant!
Why don't use watsons distilled water?
0.5mg is 0.0005g, for a total of 0.003g per bottle. I think its fine.
Erm....Thanks for highlighting....I guess should be fine as I didn't know and did a wc with 6 x 1.5l f distilled water which contains sodium...So far so good...4 days already...
Sodium will increase the TDS of the distilled water but in that tiny amount, maybe only adds 2-3 TDS? If you have a TDS meter, maybe you can check. pH, GH & KH should not be affected.
Our tap water contains much more junk (70 TDS worth of junk for my tap) and people still use it after treating with anti-chlorine, which by the way, is made of Sodium thiosulfate, Na2S2O3.
