Astro, my ikea unit the manual on/off not good already. I still have my other unit that was bought with it.

However, I have a bulky timer that is with me for 10 over years. The brand is diehl.

HI felix, I have rarely touched the timers eversince i set up them up. Diehl is a good lasting brand. Don't know why but old stuff always last longer than new stuff.

Recall my 1st laptop, until I sell it off. Battery still lasting well.

The plain (unbranded) model is also very good. It is slightly cheaper and is equally reliable if not better. I have used it for many years and is very satisfied.

I have given up on brands since I last had a bad experience with a famous brand timer some years back. It only lasted a short while and broke down while still very new.

This is the time you go home-fix and claim warranty!

You can only blame bad luck, at least work for 2 days instead of DOA right out of the box.

As long as the cheaper no-brand thing is made in China, I will grab it. After all, what is not made in China?. Lol.
But I will also grab a no-brand thing if I know it's made in S. Korea too.
