Got a pair of the Puntius everetti (Boulenger 1894) more commonly known as Clown Barb. Surprisingly pretty with its rich orangey yellow body and bright red fins. Although they can grow to 15cm but mine are still small at about 4-5cm.

    Hi hwchoy,

    Very pretty colors indeed.

Pity their potential size restricting them from being in smaller planted tanks. But then again, Armano did put a school of clown loach in one of his 3 ft aquascape, abeit juvenile ones.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Yes Benny, got them from Fish'n'Fishes just for the sake of taking pics. As usual they don't look too great at the shop but once in the home tank they colour-up in less than an hour. So pretty now I feel like keeping them

Even at 10 cm each, I don't think you can accomodate too many in a 3 ft planted setup. Time to upgrade to a 5 ft perhaps?

time to throw them into your 5ft tank since I've got their pics
