    I have algae forming on the top of my CO2 diffuser. how do I get rid of the algae?

    Good old household bleach (unscented is best). Lightly dilute it, dump your diffuser in it. Once the ceramic plate is white, dump it in another container with a heavy overdose of anti-chlorine. Once you can't smell bleach on the diffuser anymore, it's safe to return it to the tank.
