Re: Buy & Sell Forum Queries

Its still accessible. The only change is that they cannot be accessed by Tapatalk. This is because the Marketplace forms are not compatible with Tapatalk.

Re: Buy & Sell Forum Queries

The Marketplace fora are compatible. The forms to post ads are not. Tapatalk allows users to bypass the forms to post ads. Only recently Tapatalk allow us to hide selected forums from Tapatalk.

We apologise for the inconvenience, but this is currently the only way around the problem.

Re: Buy & Sell Forum Queries

I just saw this thread. Sorry for posting another thread on the helpdesk section. Maybe a mod can help to delete that thread and i'll ask questions here instead.

I was wondering if the change to the marketplace is going to be permanent, because I sure hope it's not. Accessing the forums via a web browser is quite cumbersome.
Another thing is, will it be possible to just restrict the creation of new threads in the marketplace instead of just enforcing a blanket ban on accessing the marketplace via Tapatalk? I should think that viewing and replying should not be an issue since no form template is required for such an action.

    Thanks!

Re: Marketplace not accessible from Tapatalk

At the moment there are no settings to allow us to make such customisations. If Tapatalk provides the feature in the future, we will definitely use it.

Re: Marketplace not accessible from Tapatalk

We have found a way to make the Marketplace forums "read and reply only" from Tapatalk.

Users should now be able to browse the Marketplace forums, and read and reply to Marketplace threads while on Tapatalk. Users will not be able to post new ads from Tapatalk.

Seems to be working. Thanks for re-enabling the functionality. Much appreciated.
