Hi fellows. Any idea what plant this is?

If the species can be identified by leaf shape, please do help me. Thanks.

Just to add: when I bought it from the shop, it came with an even bigger bud, but that has rotten off halfway up its specific stem.

Hmm...I bought wrongly then, i.e. I'm not looking for Tiger Lotus. I am looking for a certain lily. Is there any distinctive sure-fire signs to confirm that this is tiger lotus, i.e. the blotches of dark brown? Because the leaves of my specimen is still rather evenly green...

    Re: Plant Identification assistance required

I think i saw this (nymphaea stellata) over at 7 star aquarium before. but the plant mass quite huge though. Not sure if its the same plant.

Quite hard to determine the plant in your tank but its highly possible to be one due to the "arrow" head shape. Correct me if im wrong

On the other note, the nymphaea family quite confusing . Even then when i first purchased the plant over at polyart, the uncle told me two variations of "red tiger lotus", when one is actually Nymphaea zenkeri and the other was Nymphaea zenkeri red. Of course, i wasnt able to determine the differences until the one of the plant turned green in my tank

@diazman, can describe to me the approximate position where the plant is stored at 7-star Aquarium? Btw, I choose this specific species because it is described as a "dwarf" lily (http://www.tfhmagazine.com/details/a...ium-lilies.htm: 3rd paragraph on this page)...if it grows until too big easily, then I would have to choose some other lily...

They are by the outdoor tank where they place the $1 stem plants, the bottom tank.

I just have some rough idea haha. The plant i had is identical in term of the shape as what bro ralliart had but it didnt grew as tall as his.. mine grew low on the soil. :S (probably because i clipped all the tall old leaves )

Just an update: the new leave rotted away too, before growing tall; but 2 new (& different from each other) types of leaves took its place:
