changing chiller setup

hi i am wondering how should i remove my chiller from my tank setup? i'm intending to change to a new chiller?? do i off the cannister filter first?? or do i pump out water from fish tank?? i'm afraid that water will spill out from cannister or chiller and wet the whole tank cabinet.. advice needed.. thanks!!

take out your in let and out let from the tank, drain you chiller+filter water and then dismantle the connection
