In this talk, Joe and Mary Ann McDonald will share their experiences and excitement of their expeditions; and their worries of the threat of a diminishing natural habitat caused by rapid development, through their captured images. They are particularly concerned about the future of the magnificent game parks in Africa and they will outline in the talk, how photographers can have an impact on the conservation process by highlighting these issues with their photos.

They have been actively photographing nature in the wild, various nature reserves and parks in Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya in Africa, Chile and the Falkland Islands in and around South America and in many places in the USA.
