    Hi fellows. I came across some plants that look very similar to one another; mind helping me identify their true species?

    Question #1:



    Is the above Hottonia Palustris? I don't think it is water wisteria right?

    Question #2:



    I ordered the hydrocotyle sibthorpioides (left), & also an unnamed species (right) off-the-shelf. What's the species on the right?

    The one on the right should be the water pennywort, hydrocotyle ranunculoides

    I almost thought it's the adult form of the sibthorpioides. How do you tell them apart? Btw, sibthorpioides is also known as the "Brazilian Pennywort" right?

    Hmm, i think sibthorpioides has more irregular leaf edges and a less rounded leaf shape than ranunculoides.
