    Hi all !!

I have a 2ft tank using hmf filter with black dennerle sand as gravel and 20 cherry shrimp as occupents. Recently i got some frogbit from a friendly bro and added to my tank. I realise the frogbit is multiplying. However, at the same time, some leaves seems to be turning yellow and breaking off. I read from some low tech planted set up and seems to suggest that i should dose the elementa of N P and K into my water. Want to check you experienced planters whether this is right ? Also, wish to know which brand or what type of fert should i go for that is shrimpsafe.

If N P K is wrong, kindly advise what i should do

I on my lights for 8hrs for the frogbit and i do not dose co2. Was told that floating plants like frogbit takes in co2 frm the air

    Thanks !!

What you mean by old leaf ?

When i got them, only like 1 or 2 leaves yellow. Till date, about 5-7 leaves from the whole group has turn yellow.
New leaves ( those that i saw from seed become leaf ) all still look green and healthy to me ~

Could it be because they come to new environment than need to acclimatize by dropping a few leaves ? After awhile will be ok ?
