Aquatic magic 9mm lily pipe set and Eheim 2211

Anybody tried this setup before?

basically it's a canister filter with lily pipes.

Canister filter provides a larger biofiltration media compartment as compared to a HOB
Lily pipes are inlet and outlets, which are made of clear materials so as not to alter or disturb the scape intended.

canister filters maintenance are usually done 3 to 6 mthly depending on your bioload, and for eheim 2211, taking it out to clean might be a hassle if you do not have double tap valves.
lily pipes, just like your other hoses and piping, get dirty over time, and will require you to clean it if you want it to be clear. (thats why we buy lily pipes!)
needs regular cleaning, using lily pipe hoses.

Wow i din't know that canister filter maintenance can be 3 to 6 months apart. I thought it is a monthly affair.

Actually i'm looking for people's review whom had tried the lily pipes from aquatic magic together with a Eheim 2211. Wanted to know if there is any downside or problems as i'm planning on getting them myself soon.

I'm using an unsized version. A 13mm lily pipe and eheim 2036 canister.
