Problem with Eheim 2215

Hi all,

i recently got myself a eheim 2215 filter. However, i just discovered that the outlet of the filter is distorted and is slightly out of shape (the plastic portion is distorted). I have attached some images to show the issue. As you can see, the portion of the outlet which is distorted has developed a whitish hue. Will this affect the integrity of the filter in anyway? Should i send it for repair?
