Why the tip leaves all pointing up??

Don't know name of the plant. But it looks like the usual stem plant with needle like leaves. Why does the leaves at the tip point upwards and not fan outwards. Is it due to the lights?? Too strong??

How long have the plants been planted in there?

Does the plant fan in all the time or only at the period near light out?

I think it is normal if it fan in at the period near light out.

I think it's just their instinct of going towards light, NOw the plants are doing fine. Thks for replying.

I would echo chua's view.

I realised this after some time that the plants will, to borrow chua's words, "fan in" near lights-out time. It's natural I would say.....
