    Check your white balance.
If you are using daylight tubes, likely your white balance is set to tungsten, thus the orangy/yellowish color.

    switch white balance to daylight

Perhaps you can attach a picture or a link to the picture and we can help you. Otherwise, we can only guess what the problem is and can't give you an effective solution.

There's a good chance your lighting source has a color temperature closer to 3500K.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

This 2.5 feet tank has 1-36 watt Phillips 865 PC and 2-18 watt Arcadia 7500k. This pic is a year old. The tank has been totally reaquascaped 2months ago.

    hi

different lenses and brands favours different colours. some are tinted yellow, others orange, blue and green. i own an olympus too and i noticed it tints yellow/orange at times. never blue or green. so perhaps that's wat you are experiencing, rather than the colour of ur tubes.

the effectivenss of the cam's white-balance varies greatly depending on the different brands. i'm not sure about ur model, but if allows you to set what white is by focusing on a piece of tissue or paper, it would be more accurate.

if thats too much of a hassle, you can easily adjust the balances in photoshop. i used "auto colour", not "auto level", for ur pic.

You might want to check if "editing of pics" includes color correction.
Most of the time editing that is not allowed includes digitally cutting, duplicating/cloning plants, changing layout etc.

Also, Uncle is right. Olympus cameras usually have a slight yellowish tint and panasonic ones has a slight greenish tint.
