Identification of arowana lke fish.

Hi everyone.

Yesterday i got 3 15cm large fish from a friend.
They look like small arowanas, are grey and blue.

Can anyone identify this fish right away? '

i can´t get photos of them, no camera, not my friends either..

Alot of fish is grey and blue,
alot of fish can grow to 15cm,
alot of fish can come from a friend...

so it's really hard to identify w/o a photo, at least draw it, tell us about the shape, mouth type, fin shapes, swimming patterns, bottom, surface or mid, etc...
