    Hi Bros,

    I have a bunch of "don't know what" that grows on top of the Xmass moss that looks like riccia that bubbles? Any idea what specie is this? Only this bunch of unknown bubbles.....

    looks like riccia.
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    Hi Pal,

    If that is riccia, then where did it comes from as I do not have any in the tank? Moreover it just happen after 3 months later.

    Maybe you didn't noticed it when it mixed into a bunch of moss. To my experience, riccia grows quite fast under sufficient light and CO2.

    Heh... some plants can lay dormant and too small to be seen until conditions are right. I got rid of riccia from one my tanks previously. It stayed away for many months. Then I moved some moss from that tank to a brand new tank, where it reappeared after many months.
