    Hi Guys,

    Please help to id these fellows...
    They breed fast, i think comes with hornworts.
    Are they safe for my plants, shrimps and the rest of inhibittants?
    How to get rid of when overwhelmed?
    How safe is killer snail?

    Few days got babies already

    what is that TauGeh kind of branch in my mosses? and can anyone id the moss also?

    looks like common pond snail to me... need more pictures as it is hard to identify it by the underside of snail...haha

    If I'm not wrong its bladder snail or something. I would say that it would eat your plants but not to a very big extent. You could always get things like assassin snails to eat (my favourite), or other parameter suitable plants.

    That taugey like thing seems to be part of the moss. If I remember correctly is the equivalent of a flower in a sense, or a different generation of the moss. My botany is rusty do pardon that.

    Need a better side profile of the snail to tell but looks like a common pond snail.
    Assassin snail is slow to breed and relatively safe although some folks reported that they lost shrimps to them.

    The sprout-like thing on the mosses are sporophytes.

    Seems like correct common pond snails.
    I googled and those shell shape and dots
    Planet inverts said should be safe.
    Let me kbow if you guys have different experiences

    For a start, manually remove whenever you spot them and you should be able to curb their population. Since you have shrimps in your tank, you would probably have to use methods other than chemical treatments.
    Need something to scratch that itchy hand of mine.
