    recently got some wild plants (val. gigantea) from my base's longkangs, want to introe to my tank, but fearful of parasites n other harmful protozoans, n snail eggs. any suggestions? i heard using potassium permanganate, is it safe/effective? or salt? how do u guys usu clean ur plants?

    You can use a bleach solution, 1 part bleach to 20 part water. A good rinse with clean water after that should do the trick.
