    i read some where that lo-salt can be add to the tank but i forgotten where i read it from. is it true? and if it is, what des it add??

    K in the form of KCl. Not the most cost effective way to dose K though. K2SO4 and KNO3 are better IMO.

    MgSO4. Just ask for Epsom Salt at pharmacies.

    dude its just those over-the-counter stuff costing 5-6 bucks. but do add sparingly.. unless you arer aexperienced enough, i do suggest you go with tried n tested means (ie specific ferts n additives for aqua plant growth). Try dr mallick's lushgro products, he has such stuff avail. Support local biz as well

    Lo-Salt can be bought at NTUC. It is a sodium salt alternative for cooking.
    If you want more K for your dollar, can buy K2SO4 from Dr Mallick. I think it is about $7.60/kg as advertised on his website.

    For Mg, I would advise against trying it unless you know what you are doing. Excess Mg will inhibit Ca uptake. If you want a small sample of MgSO4 to try, can get from me.
