Sorry, Dual gauge. Guess the thing good about this is that its needle valve seems better control than the latter. Using JBJ solenoid. Though the guy said that it has a pressure reducer which is why more stable than the manual. Not sure if he meant additional pressure reducer.
Oh well, at least it does what it's suppose to do.
Thnx
Sharing my story...newbie here. Bought the CO2 set at LFS, came with cylinder, single gauge regulator, bubble counter, diffuser, fertilizer, root monster, tubing etc....tought i should be done....after 10 days of manual on/off i gave up and get a Dymax solenoid hook up to my light timer...
My advice: get yourself a solenoid.... Unless u enjoy on/off every day...
I have used both single and dual gauge (local LFS flavor), I favor the dual gauge due to ease of adjustment and auto function.
The single gauge type due to frequent adjustment, ends up with a broken screw thread.
if budget allows, newbies should just buy the dual type.
there is any local distributor here Singapore?
and just wondering somebody say it'll be very hot, but we don't know when buying.
Local LFS like Nature @Balestier carries them.
Yes, it gonna be hot cos it is a solenoid afterall but not a real concern as long as it is a good build.
Got myself a complete set of CO2 system for my new tank.
Comes with dual guage, 1L Cylinder, solenoid, rubber tubes, reactor, bubble counter, support stands, extra o-ring all in a customized box. This people know how to package stuffs. I love it at first sight and bought as it saves me from any side distress of decision making.
The Solenoid works on 110V. What if i bring back to singapore one day ? Anyway to fix it or disable the solenoid ?

hello, can use a step up/down or replace the magnetic solenoid section with a 220/230v unit that is same size of the valve.
Learning the hardway, not the highway.

Replace is a good idea if i am able to do it. thanks !

Just bought a brand new 3KG CO2 cylinder, ANS dual gauge, single stage regulator with solenoid, CO2 resistant tubing, ANS brass bubble counter with checkvalve & ISTA external ceramic CO2 reactor. Also bought the ANS glass CO2 indicator with 4dkH fluid. All below $250 from Nanyang. Currently running a bubble rate of roughly 4seconds per bubble.
The ANS regulator is not even warm at all. In fact the solenoid even cold to the touch after running 10hrs non stop. When measured using an electricity meter, it registered 0.0watts. The only downside is that there is no indicator light and the relay clicks quite loudly when its switched on/off. I had snipped away the 2 prong power connector and connected it with a 3pin neon light plugtop to see the on/off status.
Just today i added another ISTA SS checkvalve 3inches before the reactor as i found that the aquarium water tends to be push back towards my CO2 bottle nightly when the timer cuts out the CO2 supply. i was told that the bubble counter sitting atop the regulator already has a built-in check valve but well...
Correct the brass bubble counter contains check valve, i never had additional valve so far for 2 years.
I use this approach start from normal ADA 'wannabe' diffuser, UP inline diffuser, and now reactor (1week). So far quite safe.

If one of my gauges is damaged and I am not interested in knowing the pressure, is it alright to just seal off the hole meant for screwing in the gauge with a correct sized screw and some sealing tape?
Doubt you can find a screw with tapered NPT threading unless you machine one out or get a standard blank plug to plug up coonection. But you might as well leave it there if the connection is not leaking.

Its not leaking , but it is unsightly. I see already not happy haha. I think I go look around for a plug or a new gauge when i have time.
