Have you come across these White Algae anyone?

One of my bogwood is sprouting these white algae or whatever it is.
Has anyone come across this before? My SAE / Oto and yamato is not interested.
How do I get rid of it?

It's not an algae per say...

More of a fungus that you get with newly added bw. It goes away quickly, faster if you have amano shrimp.

Mine's grew out after a long time. and its in my shrimp tank o.o

I had something like that growing on my BW.. Introduced some mollies who have completely cleared it.

i used to have this in my first few weeks of setup,
but i don't really bother since it's not really obvious / eye catching. so i just keep maintaining the tank as normal way ( 50% WC 2-3 times for the 1st month, EI dosage, polish tank glass, etc)

it's not 100% disappear, but it's getting reduce. So far so good

Thanks guys for sharing your experience.
I plucked them out using pincers whenever I could...and now all have since disappeared. It's just that the whites stood out too glaringly against the black wood..was quite an eyesore!
