Hey, bro........
Yup, it's me. Finished my course and now thought of going back to Wilds again........
Our water sucks nowadays............
I'm more into Wild Angels and now slowly sourcing for Wild Discus...........
No hurry, though..............
Altum season coming soon, and I'm looking to get more Altums.........
Take care and see you around...........
PS: Great shots from your cam........Keep it up, bro............
Sanie.
Sanie,
Thanks. I am into photography too.
Yep water now is full of chlorine and chloramine, my discus hates it too
Can't think of any place beside Fish Haven and C328 that carries wild discus.
Yah Altum season is coming. Roy has some of them too.
See you at Sun Plaza for the Tetra Discus competition.

wild discus come from Amazon?
Should be S. tarzoo.
Actually, it depends on who you follow. Heiko (Bleher) published a review of discus just recently last year, and it is divided into the following clades.
a) Symphysodon haraldi (Brown & Blue discus)
b) Symphysodon aequifasciatus (Green discus)
c) Symphysodon discus (Heckel discus)
Basically, the results of the findings between the two are the same, i.e. there are 3 distinct species as of now, just that the scientific names used are different.
Interesting read of the exchanges between Sven K and Heiko B, http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.u....php?news=1330
The last time I called Fish Haven, the owner said they don't have any stock at the moment..........C328, that's where I got a couple of Altums.....
Maybe I'll be going down to Wu Hu this Sat. Called up the shop and the owner said he has some Heckels and Browns for sale........
Roy brings in Altums now?? Maybe I'll call him one of these days to check......
Hopefully we can meet up at during Tetra Discus Competition later.........
C'ya........
Sanie.
Looks like there are still some avid followers of Wild discus in SG..........
For me, I appreciate Wilds more compared to Domestics.........
That's why I'm going back to Wilds after settling my studies..........
Sanie.
i was thinking of a wild discus tank for my next setup, but got vetoed by my fiancee who wanted colourful ones there goes my dream of a tank of heckels!
You can always add another tank............
One to please her................
And the other one for your Wilds............
Wa...ka...ka...
Sanie.
Sanie,
Roy is trying to breed the Altums
Maybe I'll keep wilds later, haven't tried before.
The thing is what I see from some website the wilds
are much better than what we have here.

Roy is trying to breed Altums? All the best to him...Hopefully, one day we can have our very own Domestic Altums..........
Nah.........No need to wait later lor.....Just get in a couple and try out first.....Once you have the confidence, you can always expand your Wilds collection..
Can't agree more with you, bro.....We don't get much varieties of Wilds in SG. From what I know, the exporters prefer to send them to Japan because Japs are willing to pay a high price for Wilds. Same goes to Altums......
That's the reason why I'm sourcing Wilds slowly....I mean, real slow........No rushing for me.....
Sanie.
Sanie,
Looks like Fish Haven has new wilds newly arrived, go check it out.
