    That's a nice one Mervin. Must have been alot of hard work as shooting birds in flight is the most difficult. Especially if you are shooting with a huge 300 mm f2.8 L monster. Let me guess to do that you would probably be handholding...

    I like this one. I might give it an even tighter crop if it was mine. Why didn't you consider the 500 mm?

    these fellas were flying further out to sea while the nesting colony was just 3ms away from the boat.

    anyway the best way to shoot from a rocking boat is handholding and 500......... just too heavy for me to last for more then 15mins mate.
