    Hi all bro,

Just some quick question, can i use a analog timer on LED light? Will it cause any damage to the light in long run? I notice when timer kicks in, the light will dim off and when it turns on, sometime the LED flickers for awhile then slowly stable.

    Thanks
    MingXiang

    Hi Bro zerofighterx and bondwinner,

Thanks for the reply and sharing of your experience. Seems to me like my light will stabilize after initial power on. First time experiencing LED light so not used to it.. Haha

All the LED lights that i have used so far never dim or flicker when switched on by timers. They switch on immediately at full light power, no flicker at all.

I think the dimming and flickering of your LED lights at initial start up could be due to some issue with the circuitry in that particular unit itself, maybe you should check with the shop or seller about it.

Yeah, i'm using the Soundtech digital timers for my lights, so far both T5 and LED lights don't exhibit any flicker... i guess the difference in timer system could be one of the reasons.
