    Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone has ever attempted this before. I have 2 sets of 1 ft cube tanks. Planning to do different setup for both tanks. Ok, so I'm going to use a Eheim 2211 with the T-joints and accessories. I'm pretty sure about setting up for my Co2 so that's not my main concern.

So, can this Eheim actually used to filter 2 sets of 1ft tanks?

Would like to seek your opinions in this matter before I venture out to do this setup. Thanks peeps!

The biggest issue is to get the input flow equal to the output flow exactly equal for each tank. Otherwise it will simply result in 1 tank drying out and the other overflowing. I believe the only safe way to overcome this issue is to build an overflow system to connect these 2 tanks. This involves lots of trouble.

I personally will advise against this venture and recommend simply 1 filter for each tank.

IMHO... it could work... provided both tank are beside each other and the water level are the same... and both the water inlets and outlets are roughly the same height from the 2211.

but again... quite a hassle set up.

In addition to the correct answers: "No, only with some kind of overflow system.": That question comes up pretty regularly, last time in this thread. The answers there apply, too.
