The Paddletailed Newt also has a fire belly but should not be mixed up with the smaller Chinese Fire Belly Newts. Fully grown adults are capable of swollowing adult guppies and slim bettas whole! But they tend to ignore tankmates if they are grown up with them. Can be hard to aclimate to dry food but should take dried bloodworms. Can be territorial amongst themselves.
