so , just bought this reactor. theres total 3 impeller right ? 2 ontop , 1 bottom.

so which is suppose to spin and which is not suppose to spin ?


right now for mine , the toppest impeller spins but the impeller below it does not.
And the most bottom impeller does not spin too. normal ?

Yup it is correct. Only the top one is supposed to spin. The top one is to break up the bubbles and to help ensure uniform flow around the reactor column, the other two are helping to ensure uniform flow around the reactor column.

It's a great reactor! Just a little bit big..

The top two are the ones just above each other right? The bottom one near the outlet of the reactor should not spin as it is glued down. The top two at the inlet should spin I think. Sorry my bad, can't remember as I haven't looked at it for a long while.

so the top 2 should spin ? because for mine , only the toppest spin and the one below it doesn't. i think something jammed the impeller up. shall uncap it and look into it later

Ya the top two should spin if I remember correctly. Maybe some bros here can verify my bad memory.

You're only able to uncap for the bottom, so unless you got a long tweezer, doubt you can reach it.

Do remember to cap with the o ring lying perfectly, else any slight gap will cause water to leak.

done. right now , the top 2 is spinning v.fast. took it out , cleaned it , and its working

Yes it is perfectly normal to see that happening. As the bubbles get smaller, their buoyancy force will get smaller. When the force of the water going down and larger than the buoyancy force of the bubble in the reactor, the small bubble will not be able to overcome the downwards flow of the water and thus get pushed out through the outlet of the reactor.
