    Hi i have a problem with my dwarf hairgrass. It has been collecting debris and algae for the past week and i have been spot dosing excel but it does not work. i manually remove the algae every few days and i am seeking a solution. Any help?

    yamato shrimps? i find them very good and efficient at clearing algae. but need to consider whether your tank mates might eat them

    I can only find xxl yamato shrimps which are really big for me.

    i also use yamato shrimp , i like XXXLLL size , it was good

    Collect bucephalandra and crypt is part of my life.Now i have more than 30 species of Bucephalandra . hope can collect more more. make me fall in love is Bucephalandra Molteyana Deep Purple

    maybe his tank is small ?
    maybe his tank have many small babies fish

    Yeah, i agree with the TS about yamato shrimp size... in small tanks with small fishes, fully grown adult yamato shrimps look like lumbering giant creatures, really throws off the perception of scale. They make small tanks look even smaller.

    My tank is filled with small rasboras that are smaller than most shrimp. I like the way they make the tank look huge.

    Well i have rescape my tank and place all the hairgrass under the filter output so now there is 0 algae. In addition i bought a few shrimps to graze on the algae.
