Where? Varnishing driftwood

Hey guys, Ive got this amazing piece frm Hongkong, and I really wanna preserve it.

Its been continuously attacked by brown algae, white fluffy stuff (mold/fungi), BBA, slow degradation.

Where can I find safe polyurethane varnish? Tried self fix but they dont have aquarium safe ones.

See this link for the item he is using. It's a type of water based polyurethane sealer. Locally I have no idea which brands are aquarium safe, Eddy Planer would know better. You can ask him via PM or through the Vivarium sub-forum.

I remember Thio from Biotope used to mention an alternative using of an ADA product (phyto git something, cannot remember clearly). Brush the liquid on the DW and algae will not grow (or easily grow) on it.

Anyway I think even if you seal the DW with varnish, algae will still grow on it. Come on, the least condusive place for algae to grow like glass, can still have algae growing. The important thing here is to maintain the tank properly so that algae will not grow or kept under control.
