Just my humble opinion, bottom tank is high profile right ? wouldn't you have more space to work about if the high profile tank is place on the top tier. ? Just my 2 cents

Hi, yes it is. The bottom tank is matured and has shrimps in it. I put it at the bottom as the pipes for the canister(2nd hand) is long enough only for the bottom tank. For the top tank, I use only a sponge filter for it.
