Thanks bro UA, tried C328 last Friday but did not find it... Anybody seen it anywhere recently? Thanks
Maybe just ask the shop boss to order them in for you, that's actually what i did.![]()
Thanks, managed to get the last set from C328 yesterday. Installed it right away and it works with both impellers spun fast. But this morning found the top impeller did not spin and second one spin slower. Is it meant to be like that? I will try to dismantle it tonight.
For me, both impellers spins freely & quickly as its powered by the incoming stream of water.
Do check for burrs at the edges around the spinning parts just in case.
Sometimes things or livestock do get stuck inside, causing it to be stuck and not spin. last time i had a snail inside which stopped the impeller from rotating. when it crawled to the side of the disc, then disc spun as it the centre of gravity was off sided!
Quick update: dismantled it and found the shaft is a bit rough. Smooth it with sand paper and it's been spinning non stop ever since. Thanks bro for the tips. Cheers
How's your rate flow after use it? I use max mix, it's obviously slow down them.
If you look at on their diagram, Is there any reason to stick this reactor slightly higher than our filter ? Mine just sitting side by side equally.
Co2 reactors do tend to reduce overall flow rates, though how much it reduces depend on the reactor size vs canister filter initial flow rate.
In general, using a larger reactor slows down flow rates more than a smaller reactor.
I guess the reactors can be positioned and work at the same level as the canister filter... the diagrams on the sides of the boxes probably just show them positioned abit higher to differentiate them from the filter in those illustrations.
