    Usually characins. Dry season they get trapped in small pools on the forest floor. Occasionally with killifishes as well, depending on the habitat.

    Usually Copella sp, Rivulus sp, Nannostomus sp and Crenichus spirulus from what I've read.

    The usual Hyphessobrycon and Hemigrammus tetras we commonly find in our LFS tend to inhabit more open waters than the shallow creeks that apistos are usually found in
