Has anyone tried attaching amazon sword plants onto their driftwood/s? I've seen the Anubias Nana done it, and i wondered I could do the same for mine.
I've noticed that the plants are deteriorating. Would liquid fertilizers help?
Only plants without roots can be tied to driftwood.
Some exception are ferns and nana. The reason is because for nana, it has very strong roots that anchor firmly on the surface of the driftwoods. As for ferns, it can propagrate from the mother leaves and rhizomes.
For amazon sword, it can't due to the lack of these properties.

Alternatively, grow some moss on driftwood and let the amazon plants be inserted amongst the moss. You may try that to see if it achieves your desired effects.

Actually, when I removed the swordplants from the driftwood,I discovered that the sword plant has instinctively rooted itself on to the driftwood and it is moving towards the direction ofthe substrate.
Asfor moss, I have tied Java moss to it already.Waiting for it to spread. Willbe getting some java ferns to replace the swordplants though.

The rhizome is the green hard solid part where the roots and stems of the plants connect to. If u have a anubias nana, the rhizome is the green thing where the leaves sprout out from.
