Hi bro,
I just rescaped my tank last Sunday with some java moss from my friend s tank. It was green and lively when I got from him but now it is turnin yellowish after a few days in my tank.
I feel a bit frushtrated as some of t bros here mentioned that Java moss is the hardiest and if it doesnt survive in my tank, Nothing else will survive
I suspected that it may have died of dehydration as I took it out of water for almost 3 hours, trying to hang it on the driftwoods.
Can you please advise what can I do to resurrect them. I feel so guity and lousy.
My tank specs are:
Juwel Lido 120 (61x41x5
Juwel Internal Filter
Light: 2x 24W (12 hrs/day 8pm-8am)
Co2: 2bps (12 hrs/day 8pm-8am)
Substrate: 8kg of Gex and 8 kg of gravel
Temperature: 28-29 with a fan
No other chemicals added yet.
Thanks a mil....

think you might have answer your question yourself "died of dehydration as I took it out of water for almost 3 hours"
anyway dont give up try again , just remember to keep it moist , currently you can try to trim away those brown moss and see if it survives and grow new fronds
Keep a spray bottle when doing scaping and planting, to keep the plant moist.
Side note, if you dosed bacteria under the substrate, use dechlorinated water for your spray bottle.

Hi guys,
Thanks for your replies.
@limz & Y3H : I have re-tied my moss, and this time I keep it moist with the help of a sprayer and it seems to do fine till now.
@balding: thanks bro, but unfortunately, I stay pretty far away, so will give your offer a miss
