do they look like gobies?
do they look like gobies?
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

i've seen the fish at Y618 too... if its the same fish we're talking abt, it looks like a tiny garoupa with big fins. Not really like the goby pic u posted but with similar body pattern and colors. It selling at $3 per fish if i remember correctly.![]()
yes, I bought them at Y618. They (and another LFS) told me they're real friendly community fish. Rite. I caught one of them with the tail end of my neon tetra sticking out of its mouth. I returned them.

Should be venomous rather than poisonous.
Poisonous = you get poisoned when you eat it
Venomous = inject venom into you when it stings you.

Moral of the story:
DON'T believe whatever the LFS tells you unless it can be corroborated with uninterested sources.
KNOW what you buy, BEFORE you buy it.
so how? you want to give them away![]()
