Hi guys, I'm quite new to planted, wanna enquire if its ok to use OHF for my 2ft and 3ft tanks? I'm planning to use CO2 soon... heard that OHF will dissolve all the CO2... is there anyway I can modify the OHF? Or shld I just change to Ext cannister or int sponge filter?

If for Ext cannister, can I use a rainbar or...? Any advice will be greatly appreciated

PS. I'm currently starting out on a mossy/plant low maintanence tank for my 2ft (java moss, taiwan moss, wendii, windeluv, java fern) planning to add some shrimps n small fish soon... any small fish to recommend that'll go well with shrimps?

OHF will result in loss of CO2, no modification will solve tt problem... for the 2ft, an internal sponge will do, as for 3ft, better get a canister, but also depends on yr bioload... an internal will do fine if yr bioload is low....

yes, ensure yr rainbar is below the water surface.....

do u intend to breed the shrimps?? cos most fishes will eat shrimp fries.... some pple say otos r good tankmates for shrimps... i not so sure cos i never have otos with my shrimps... i used to have tetras, SAE, puffer with my shrimps... but all of them ate my shrimp fries.....
