What type of tank setup are you setting up? Plant tank? What fishes you keeping?
Totally new to this hobby.
Have been lurking around forums for some time. Trying to read up more while cycling the tank.
There's really so much things to learn about that it just seems so overwhelming at times

Wow, so many responses.
@Sheng : I bought plenty of stuff already, and was exploring a few options. Most likely will be going for very simple planted tank with hardy fishes and/or shrimp first. I'm kind of afraid of killing stuff due to my lack of knowledge or deft hands. Having a nano-tank will really not help in this department. Fishes is a little trickier, as part of the reason for a tank is because i would like to let my mum have a betta that i will help to care for. I was thinking of a few CPD or small cories at first. Shrimps with one Oto might work out better since its really small.
@BFG : Thanks for the welcome. I do prefer to do things for the long term, would like to see how my adventure turns out.
@tropic : Thanks for the kind reminder, have also read through AQ's rules. Glad to see that a place like this encourages proper discussions.
@Whitechicks7 : Yes i will. My dad used to have goldfishes long ago that kept dying all the time. I guess im starting to see plenty of reasons why they kept dying.

My exprience with oto , they are fairly sensitive fish in my opinion .
I would suggest using drip acclaimitisation method on them same as shrimp .
I tried using the floating bag method at first , but most of it went dead might be due to ph shock .
Current batch i got they are doing kind of well swimming around and cleaning glass , basically doing their job . Still monitoring them but till now 0 casulty .
