Very nice betta, is it a koi betta? Would be nice to see a full tank shot too.
On a whim I decided to buy a betta from a forum member, and It's the greatest decision I've ever made, I've always thought that bettas are mindless peacock fishes who cant be housed with other fishes, but I guess I was wrong, bettas have such great personality and they actually interact with you, I housed mine in my community tank (all betta compatible) and Its been behaving so well, so curious and would always roam the tank. It looks so happy 😊. I wish all bettas could be housed in planted tanks instead of cups... because its a shame and very cruel to these beautiful creatures.

The seller says its a red marble, but I think its a koi coz it has 3 colors as oppose to marbles who only have 2 colors, not too sure, it's my first betta.
Enjoy your pet! The number of betta planted tank keepers are rising. Good choice Ashnia!
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
Nice set-up. I am also trying to house a betta in a planted tank and looking for compatible tank mates. tentatively, I am thinking of cardinal tetra.
Able to share what other denizens do you have in the tank?
I have 3 corys, 2 ottos, 6 celestial pearl rasboras, 1 threadfin, 1 marble hatchet and red fire shirmps... i dont think tetras are compatible as the red and blue coloring might provoke the betta into chasing them, you might like grey colored fishes same as mine...
I love how your tank looks! Great job on plants too
