At first I thought it might be that I accidentally moved my rocks against them and cause some mud to stick on it (although I cannot remember shifting my lava rocks), so without a cleaner, I took a folded tissue and used my pincer to wipe it off from the inside. It comes off easily.

however, this week I notice more of it on the wall, about 4-5 patches this time. So I am convinced that this is something brewing.

does anyone know what is this?
My tank is about 2 months old and cycled after the 5-6th week. This might be an algae issue. I know marine tanks have "diatom" during, but for freshwater tank too?!
