Looks stunning! Seems like they need cold water though. You're putting them in a tank with chiller?

Got some from Aquatic Avenue last week (http://streamdreamin.blogspot.sg/201...f-rainbow.html) love the unique coloration, anyone else keeping? I think most of them available at LFS are the brightly colored males, anyone has some female to spare haha?

Yup but not very cold, around 23-25 range, the initial idea for this wall mount 3ft long tank was to keep shrimps, but decided to keep some fishes for while waiting for the tank to mature. I might just skip the shrimp part since my wife seemed to like the fishes haha, well at least for the next 3-4 months.

How did you run chiller for wall mount? Air con piping? Yeah think they would look nice with their coloration. Would love to get some but no more space lol
Cheers,
Joe

My tank is near my partition, so I just pipe it through the partition and linked it using stainless steel piping to cool the water while the chiller is primarily use to chill my 2ft sitting on the partition. Some piping are visible at one corner but that's also where the electrical cord go through, just got to live with it haha.

I have 5 pieces of rainbow shiners and they are doing well in my tank without a chiller. Temp is about 28 degrees with fan
