seachem prime always look milky and have a ammonia smell. I continue to use anyway.
I bought a new bottle of Seachem Prime to standby once the old bottle finishes. I still own a bottle bought around 18+ months ago.
I noticed that the content of the new bottle is clear liquid while from the old content is milky-like.
Is the old bottle still of any safe for aquarium use? I do not see any expiry date printed on its packaging though..
Did not realize the different state of the liquid until I poured Prime from the new bottle for my 2feet.

True, mine smells weird but generally if the product has no expiry date, it shouldn't expire. Though if you have experienced any side effects on your aquarium then you should get a new one. This being said, chemical products like Prime tend to last for a few years.
I have thrown away the old bottle now using the new.
Was blaming the old milky content Prime for the death of my colony of Frontosa after a water change and filter maintenance.
At least now I know that Prime is not to be blame. Should be my mistake while doing filter maintanence one way or another..
