    Hi

can put carbon (bag type) in canister filter? I heard it will take off the CO2 from the water so is kind of waste of CO2.

    It is correct?

No, it'll remove trace elements that plants need for growth. Generally, AC is used in the first few weeks of setting up the tank, after that, your water should be crystal clear since plants contribute greatly to clear water.
