I thought of many words to choose that describe the shape of the wood in this scape. Not sure if I am going to add a new wood to support this centrepiece. This is like a pathway to the unknown here.

Maybe moss tied to the wood such that it forms a moss bridge?

If you don't put any rocks for your path very soon it will be gone due to soil sliding.

    Re: Hiraeth

Thats right guys! My soil bank is sliding down a lot.. I might be going to add more small rocks to provide depth and angle too.

Rock to weigh down the wood to sink.

Messed up by moving rocks to tweak the scape. Rock fell and made a mess on the sand path. Will clean up another day. Planning to add more plants while waiting game for the background plants to grow and fill up. Realised I might have chosen the wrong background plant. Rock colors dont seem to be natural, maybe after greening.

What do you guys think? :-) Thank you for your replies.

I feel like a darker shade of rocks would make your scape look more natural. I kind of like the bits and pieces of soil on your sand but it might to messy to you. Also, more smaller rocks would do you good

The path will be gone very soon if you did not do something to separate the soil substrate and the white sand. Like place separator or small rock along the banks of the path.

I agree! Grey river rocks are better. Oh well, I got more beehive rocks so I decided to do a scape with only one type of rocks

I think I should add a "support" wood because of the one "tree-like" structure on the left of the scape..

Motleyana Braun Rot, the most beautiful bucep I have ever seen and owned.
IMG_1697 by Kenneth Chin, on Flickr
Overview. Grass getting greening, growing new shoots. Red Rotala too, I realised the Amano shrimps have been eating the dying/live leaves so I reduced the number of shrimps and trimed 1/2 the stems to grow back bushier. Bubbles seen emitting from the buceps.. One leaf decayed, hope that's not alarming.

    CO2 added: 1-2bps.
Photoperiod about 8-10hrs a day. Hair algae removed by shrimps, green spot slowly being removed by otos and nerite.

    Current fauna count:
    5 Amano shrimps
    2 Otos
    1 Horned nerite snail

    Buceps:
sp. Godzilla, Motleyana Braun Rot, unknown brownie(dying), Paris
I keep sulawesi shrimps, tetras, birds, exotic pets, herptiles and monster fishes.
