Just for record purpose. I bought 5 yamato shrimps more than 10 years ago, maybe 15. There are still 4 left now. I never restock nor do they breed. Tank is 2 feet planted, no CO2, water always acidic between 6.0 to 7.0 without any treatment (though my tap water is always alkaline and hardness unknown. It's in a tank that's never been torn down for more than 10 years less routine maintenance of 2 weeks, sometimes more.
