Hi,
If I have to buy only one Seachem bottle, which one should buy?![]()
1) Flourish (S$9.5) OR
2) Flourish Potassium
I've got 3 tanks and the main plants are Riccia, Taiwan Moss, Xmas Moss and Java Fern. One (3ft) with CO2 and other two (1ft & 15") are low-tech tanks.
Too many bottles of seachem fertilisation supplement can sometime create confusion.

Flourish will be the best all around. But, isn't it true also that 'rootless' plants such asOriginally Posted by |squee|

No, its the energy input namely light and CO2 and determines growth which in turn dictates uptake rate of nutrients. "Rootless" plants however can only "grab" their food aka nutrients from the water column whereas rooted plants can get theirs from the substrate if the water column is lean in nutrients. Do note that moss does not have the ability to use bicarbonate as a source of carbon and they only use CO2. (Quote from Tom Barr...Originally Posted by Star-flog

Use flourish for trace elements and get KNO3, KH2PO4 for macros. You can consider Seachem Equilibrium as well if you feel the need to beef up the GH.
