Air pump

Hey!! I actually have smth I wanna ask regarding fish tanks! It’s been a long time since I’ve had a proper fish tank and I just got one cycled a month ago. I’ve got a filter and an air pump connected to a rubber hose thing in the tank. I realized that there’s too much air bubbles coming out from the hose and it’s getting the lid and the lighting cables super wet. Is it necessary to have an air pump or is a filter enough to do the job?

Filter is good enough in most cases. What kind of filter do you have?
